Rockaway Warriors Parade
On Thursday, July 10 at around 6:30 p.m., line the streets of Rockaway Beach Blvd. from Beach 149th to Beach 120th Street to cheer on Hope for the Warriors as they arrive into town for a weekend of fun on the water.
Rockaway Beach Civic Association Meeting
On Thursday, July 10 at 7 p.m., head to the Knights of Columbus (333 Beach 90th Street) back patio for the RBCA meeting. Speakers include Kim Fraczek, Director and JK Canepa, Coordinator of Sane Energy Project and Saylor Pochan, Chair Emeritus of Surfrider Foundation NYC, to discuss the revived Williams NESE Pipeline Proposal and next steps.

Birding for Beginners
On Sundays through July 27 at 2 p.m. head to the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge to join a ranger to take a nature walk, and learn the basics of bird identification and appreciation. Bug spray and sunscreen are recommended, binoculars available.
