Santa Run/Walk

On Saturday, December 13, the Rockaway Track Club hosts its annual Santa Suit and Grinch 5K and one-mile fun walk. Christmas Bird Count

On Sunday, December 14 at 11 a.m., head to the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge to join a park ranger and help with the Christmas Bird Count, the nation’s longest running community science bird project! Help count the birds you see throughout the walk to help Audubon with their research. Dress for the conditions. All skill levels and ages welcome. Binoculars will be provided.
