Top Posts of ‘22
Last year was a big one for The Rockaway Times on Instagram, with some of our most viewed posts to date. We compiled our Top 9 Instagram posts of 2022.
The biggest posts came in the last few days of 2022 with the flooding on December 23. Jo Lynn Joyce’s videos of a man rescuing a neighbor, and then a police officer rescuing residents, came in on top with 3.5K and 3.1K Likes respectively. Some other popular posts included the love Rockaway showed to the Klein family and the FDNY after the passing of Firefighter Timmy Klein, plus a breaching shark, the dead sperm whale and a stingray ballet. What can we say? Rockaway loves our heroes and sea life!
