 Traffic Issues

Dear Editor:

(In response to Lazer Speaks’ “Grumpy Old Man Part 2”).

The story highlights a fundamental question. Why was it possible for a million people to visit the Rockaway beaches in the 1950s and 60s and today many fewer people create hours long traffic jams?

Certainly, some of those people lived in the bungalows, but most did not.

I propose that the problem is the NYC Department of [non]-Transportation. There should be an investigation of how and why they have created these problems.
