The 100th Precinct Community Council National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5, was a night for the community to enjoy and to recognize the efforts of some of the precinct’s officers, and the council’s volunteers.
The parking lot on Beach 94th was full of tables with resources from the NYPD, United States Park Police, FBI, FDNY, Episcopal Health Services, DSNY, and fun booths offering things like face painting, balloon art, and temporary tattoos from Qikykids. There were also bouncy houses and plenty of food and goodies including hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn, Mara’s Italian Ices and more. Millenium Development’s dance team gave a few performances and Warren Levi martial arts put on a demonstration for the crowd.
