Chanukah Giveaway Brightens Spirits in Far Rock

The 101st Precinct and the NYPD Community Affairs Bureau, in partnership with JCCRP, Hatzalah, Rockaway Nassau Safety Patrol, Achiezer, Rockaway Kosher, Tomers Gourmet Market and 718-Insurance, successfully hosted their Fourth Annual Chanukah Toy Giveaway on Sunday, December 22, at Bnos Bais Yaakov on Beach 9th Street. Despite the chilly weather, more than 500 people lined up to receive toys for their children, doughnuts and more. Detective Lynn Blanchette took the lead on the event and Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato stopped by to help hand out toys.
