Community Easter Egg Hunt this Sunday

By Theresa Racine

The Brothers for Peace and Social Change, Man Entertainment, and Ocean Bay Resident Council are joining forces to host their 12th year Anniversary Easter Egg Hunt this Sunday, April 20 at 1 p.m.

Visol Smith and Man Brown ensure that all attendees, children and adults, will enjoy a fun-filled day with food, music and numerous prizes. Over 1,000 eggs will be hidden, including special golden eggs, which if found, could mean lucky folks going home with cash prizes ranging from $10 to $50, plus Stop and Shop gift certificates, t-shirts, a toaster, pizza maker, shredders, virtual reality glasses for kids, and so much more. The Easter bunny is always a huge hit with the children and will be on site for pictures.

Also on Saturday, April 26 at the Child Center of NY (57-10 Beach Channel Drive), they will be hosting their second annual “Oldies But Goodies Classic Hits” from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., free of charge.
