Diamond in the Rough

Dear Editor:

NY Giants fans are very excited with the football draft. I personally feel that they have landed a “diamond in the rough” by selecting running back Cam Skattebo of Arizona State University (ASU) in the fourth round. He was overlooked by recruiters and had to play football for two years at a junior college before receiving a scholarship.

Skattebo is a hard-working physical running back that can lead the Giants back to the “ground and pound” offense they so desperately need. I’m sure Sarah on the Sidelines (an ASU Alum) is equally excited. It feels so good to be looking forward to the upcoming Giants season, a feeling that I haven’t had in four years.
