 Easy Baked Chicken Tenders w/ Veggies  & Apple Filling

I didn’t measure anything. Not really necessary. Great, easy dish.


  • 1 package of chicken tenders
  • ½ bag baby carrots
  • ½ bag snap peas
  • 1 can apple pie filling
  • Apple sauce to cover bottom of the pan
  • A little red onion or sweet onion
  • 6 pats of unsalted butter. 3 on the carrots, 3 on snap peas
  • Sprinkle of thyme


Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Spray a baking dish 9 x 13”. Pour apple sauce to coat the bottom.  Put chicken tenders in the middle of the baking dish. On one side add the carrots. On the other side add the snap peas. Drizzle a little salt and olive oil. Pour the apple filling over the chicken tenders. Slice the onion and put over the chicken and filling. Sprinkle with a little thyme. Put the butter over the vegetables. Cover and bake for 40-45 minutes.

I served this with stuffing. You can use mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes or anything that you might like. Or maybe just a crusty bread for dunking.
