Happy Memories

Dear Editor:

I’ve just enjoyed another one of Jean Caligiuri McKenna’s full-page essays of her life and times while growing up in Rockaway (March 28, 2024). As always, her prose is beautiful, the sentimental nostalgia is endearing, and the reader, with each narrative, can learn a little more about Rockaway’s mid-century social history. Please keep the stories coming! I look forward to them as, I’m sure, do other readers of The Rockaway Times.
