St. Camillus Golden Age Club Dedicates Plaque to Late Msgr. Ahlemeyer

During their bi-monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 12, the St. Camillus Golden Age Club dedicated a plaque to Monsignor Richard J.  Ahlemeyer who passed away on May 12, 2024. According to Golden Age Club board members, president Theresa Douglas, vice president Doreen Raftery and treasurer Cheryl Hauk, the plaque was dedicated on the 48th anniversary of his ordination and was blessed by Father James Rodriguez. “Father Richie,” as Monsignor Ahlemeyer was called, came to their meetings to bless and pray with them, to update them on church events and happenings with the parishioners and the health and well-being of their members. He also brought laughter to the meetings with his quick wit and jokes. The St. Camillus Golden Age Club has been going strong for over 50 years and for nearly two decades with “Father Richie.”
