St. John’s Episcopal Hospital Welcomes First Baby of the Year!
Welcome baby Ameila! On New Year’s Day, January 1 at 7:54 p.m., weighing 6 lbs 15 oz and 20” long, baby Ameila entered the world at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, making her St. John’s first baby of 2024. She was born to proud parents, parents (Mom) Kameal Ramnauth and (Dad) Ganesh Narine of Far Rockaway.
Mom Kameal Ramnauth praised the special care given to her during the baby’s birth. “My experience was such a good one. The nurses gave me so much motivation,” Ramnauth said. “I’d like to say thank you to everyone at St. John’s. They were very helpful, kind, and they treated my family great as well, I could not have done it without you!”
That excellent care continued post-birth as the team members of the hospital presented the new parents with the St. John’s ICARE Foundation’s special delivery bag filled with official EHS onesies, baby hat, towelettes and more. The mom and dad will be presented with more gifts in the days to come.
