Under the leadership of Ellen McDonough, Waterside Children’s Studio School donated tons of cereal boxes to be given out to a local food pantry.
On Monday, March 10, Waterside’s kindergarten and first grade took a class trip to JUMP Dance Studio on Beach 116th Street for a day of giving.
“Thank you to all the children who participated and their teachers who did an amazing job of walking them over and having such nice behavior in our space,” Michelle Admoni of JUMP Dance said. “We all learned the feeling of giving and swayed to the song ‘We are the World.’”
Thank you, Miss Michelle, Miss Juliette and Miss Danielle Mitchell, who helped bring it together. They gave each student a sticker of appreciation.
Mike Lee from The Graybeards will be busy picking up all the donations and distributing the food this week.
