—“Mashed Potatoes” by Suha Araj. While prepping for a Friendsgiving in tech potluck, an Arab couple argues over the merits of a well-quoted journalist after the 9/11 attacks.

—“Our Wonderful Future” by Jonah Aaron Goldstein. It is July 14, 1945: The U.S.A. just tested its first nuclear bomb. It is said that any escalation of war between two major powers will lead to the inevitable.

—“Adidas Owns the Reality” by Keil Orion Troisis and Igor Vamos. Prankster activists perform an elaborate hoax to improve conditions for garment workers in the Adidas supply chain.

—“Grandma & Isabella” by Hannah Engelson. A poetic, observational documentary centered on Livina, who is raising her great-granddaughter Isabella in Rockaway, NY.

—“The Waves Within Us”  by Muhammad Ali Haider. On a quiet beach in Rockaway, a hopeless teenager struggles with his future and self-worth while playing football with his older brother, who offers wisdom on life and perseverance.
