Best for the Job

Dear Editor:
A word to the voters of Rockaway.
This coming election, you will have the job of deciding to vote for an incumbent you know or a person who has never held political office before in all of the local races. Forget about Democratic or Republican, liberal or conservative. Just consider rather whether you are satisfied with current conditions in Rockaway, the state of New York and the Nation overall. If you are satisfied, then vote for the incumbents. If not, then vote them out. Politicians need to know if you are unhappy or satisfied with living conditions. Your vote is the only way they will. NYC is a Democratic town. If a person knows they can never lose an election, they will vote as the controlling party tells them to. I think New York’s politicians need a wakeup call.
