By Gina Machado
The stage at P.S. 114 was transformed into the enchanting city of Agrabah as the school’s talented students delivered a mesmerizing production of “Aladdin” on Thursday and Friday nights, March 20-21. The auditorium was filled with excitement and energy as the young actors brought the beloved Disney classic to life with their outstanding performances, captivating singing, and dazzling dance routines.
From the moment the curtains rose, the audience was transported into a world of magic and wonder. The lead performers fully embodied their roles, and the supporting cast and ensemble added an extra layer of vibrancy, ensuring that every moment on stage was packed with enthusiasm and flair.
The musical numbers were executed flawlessly, showcasing the students’ vocal talents and the hard work put in by the entire production team. The choreography was equally impressive, with the ensemble’s synchronized movements lighting up the auditorium and adding to the magical atmosphere of the show. The production was a testament to the dedication and passion of P.S. 114’s students and the incredible guidance of their directors and teachers.
This year’s “Aladdin” production was not just a school play; it was a theatrical event that will be remembered for years to come. Bravo to the cast, crew, and everyone involved in making this spectacular show a reality!
