An Epic Fundraiser for Special Olympics
Let them play ball! On Saturday, April 18, the Cabana in Long Beach hosted a successful 3rd Annual Autism Awareness Party and fundraiser for St. Camillus Special Olympics’ softball season.

Thanks to owner Bob Johnson, St. Camillus’ Special Olympics athletes enjoyed a day in the sun at the Cabana with food, donuts from Dough Hut, face painting and live music by the RockaWades and Westlake. With the efforts of Rochelle Burg and others, a successful 50/50 held leading up to the event and the day of, led to more than $3,000 being raised to help support the Special Olympics softball season. The lucky winner, Groggy Santiago, generously donated his $1,600 prize back to the program. “We had such an epic day,” Burg said.
