Hey WrestleTalk Fans! This week will we take the time to answer questions from you, the readers. We have been receiving tons of emails with questions, and we appreciate them all. Let’s dive right into them!
The First Question of the Week comes from Paul G., in Rockaway Park, and he asked, “Now that CM Punk is no longer with AEW, do you think he will go back to the WWE?” Hi Paul, I have to say at this point, yes! It makes a lot of sense to have CM Punk have another run with the WWE. Unless he is completely done with pro wrestling, which that’s not what I’m hearing. CM Punk is still a major draw, and it would benefit the WWE to negotiate and bring him back. I feel he still has a major run inside of him, so I would love to see it. Thanks for the question!
The Second Question of the Week comes from Mohammad F., in Arverne By The Sea, and he asked, “I’m a fan of Pro Wrestling NOAH wrestler Katsuhiko Nakajima, and I had read that he is looking to be hired by the WWE or AEW. Any information on this?” Hi Mohammad, yes, we do have some news regarding Katsuhiko Nakajima, and the reports are that AEW is very interested in him, so is New Japan Pro Wrestling. As for the WWE, I haven’t heard any feedback that they were also interested in signing him. Katsuhiko is currently a free agent, as he is working without a contract with Pro Wrestling NOAH. I would like to see him stay in Japan, as I feel NJPW will better utilize him. Thanks for the question!
The Third Question of the Week comes from Kalmil H., in Rockaway Beach, and he asked, “I’m so happy to see Santana and Ortiz back in AEW but I heard they have real issues with each other. Is this true?” Hi Kalmil, yes, they both have confirmed this. Mike Santana, speaking with Fightful’s In The Weeds, stated that there were issues between he and Ortiz, but they were working through them. I have been a fan of Santana and Ortiz for many years now. I met them years back when we trained at the Old Ludus Wrestling School in Brooklyn, and I was very impressed with both of them, and followed their careers throughout the years. I feel both will work through things and continue to have great careers. Thanks for the question!
The Last Question of the Week comes Alec M., in Rockaway Park, and he asked, “What are your thoughts about Adam Copeland ‘Edge’ debut for AEW?” Alec, I have to say I was actually very surprised! I didn’t see that one coming, and at the same time, I’m very excited to see it happening. He has been The Superstar Edge for 25 years in the WWE, and now we can get to see him as Adam Copeland. There are a ton of matches I’m interested in seeing, and one of them is MJF vs Adam Copeland. I feel Adam’s star power will benefit both he and the AEW. Thanks for the question!
Great Questions this week, and again, thank you to all for sending them in!
