Backpack Fundraiser A Success
The Graybeards, in conjunction with SFDS Parish, held a backpack fundraiser for this upcoming school year to support the children of Saint Mary’s Star of the Sea and St. Rose. More than sixty backpacks and ample school supplies (notebooks, crayons, pens, etc.) were collected this month and then distributed over the last week. Total funds collected for the backpacks and supplies was more than $2,000.
