Dear Editor:
Any chance you can reach out to the Department of Highways and ask them why they don’t get rid of all the metal dividers on the Belt Parkway and replace them with concrete ones?
Just about every time you drive on it, you are stuck in traffic for a long time because the metal dividers have been crashed into by late night high speed drivers.
It should not take 90 minutes to get to the Verrazano Bridge!
My guess is that half of the Belt Parkway already has the concrete ones, so why not replace all the metal ones?
Just trying to make sense!
