Family Fun Run Set for July 28

The 20th annual Graybeards Family Run will return this year on Friday, July 28. The evening will begin with children’s races of varying lengths along Rockaway Beach Blvd. at 6:30 p.m. An inspirational run by Rockaway’s Special Athletes will follow at 6:45 p.m. The 1 Mile Run is at 7 p.m. and then the marquee 5k Run at 7:15 p.m. Post-race festivities will be in St. Francis de Sales Fr. Grogan Memorial Schoolyard, and includes food, beverages, children’s activities, awards, raffles, and live music. In person registration is available at St. Francis on July 22, 10-12 p.m., July 23, 10-1 p.m., July 27, 6-8 p.m., and on the day of the race, July 28, 4-6 p.m. Please see the ad in this paper or contact:
