 High Tide

Monday is September 11, the twenty-second anniversary of the attack on America. It was said then and should be said always: Never Forget. Never Forget those who died that day. Never Forget the bravery of so many that day. Never Forget that we are blessed to live in this country. Never Forget the people who lost their lives to make that a possibility. This day remains immensely difficult for many here in Rockaway and we wish them comfort and solace. We will Never Forget.

Parrotheads around the world are mourning the loss of music legend Jimmy Buffett, who died of skin cancer on September 1. Jimmy was in town just two years ago when he filmed an episode of “Blue Bloods” with Donnie Wahlberg, who had posted a photo of them on the beach with a caption saying, “Looks like Rockaway Beach, but it feels like Margaritaville!”
