Pheffer Amato Works With REMA4US To Create BID

Assemblywoman Stacey Pheffer Amato recently  sat down with the Rockaway East Merchants Association (REMA4US) to discuss the ongoing proposal of creating an official Business Improvement District, or BID, in Far Rockaway. The goal is that through this BID, which would include portions of Mott Avenue, Beach 20th Street, Cornaga Avenue, Central Avenue and several other streets, a commercial corridor would unite to bring a new range of services to benefit over 200 local businesses, something Pheffer Amato absolutely supports.

“BIDs help businesses, and we must always support local and small businesses. Having grown up in Far Rockaway, I know our small businesses are the heart and soul of the community. The creation of this BID will provide additional resources to deal with sanitation, maintenance services, decorations, or other crucial business support. I am proud to work hand-in-hand with REMA4US as we drive Far Rockaway small businesses forward,” Pheffer Amato said.
