Real Men Wear Pink for Breast Cancer Research

Episcopal Health Services’ (EHS) team members came together for a worthy cause when the health system hosted a “Real Men Wear Pink” Fashion Show in support of breast cancer awareness and research on Sept. 27 at the EHS Clinical Learning Center.
The upbeat event featured EHS’ “Real Men Wear Pink” ambassadors, who dazzled audience members by showcasing their most creative pink ensembles, with some help from DJ Osei. The ambassadors earned their spot in the lineup by raising money for the American Cancer Society in the weeks leading up to the event.
“Our ‘Real Men Wear Pink’ ambassadors understood the assignment,” said Sharika Gordon, Senior Vice President & Chief People Officer. “They looked fabulous and put on an incredibly entertaining show for a truly worthy cause. At EHS, we understand how devastating a breast cancer diagnosis can be, and we’re proud to support the American Cancer Society in raising awareness and funds for much-needed research.”
Proceeds from ticket sales and T-shirt purchases will benefit the American Cancer Society. The “Real Men Wear Pink” Fashion Show kicks off a month-long series of activities at EHS, aimed at raising awareness and supporting breast cancer research.
