Rockaway Film Festival Accepting Submissions

Got a film you’ve made? Now’s your chance to have it featured as part of the Eighth Annual Rockaway Film Festival. They recently opened their portal for submissions, which they’ll be accepting through March 31.

Rockaway Film Festival welcomes submissions of all lengths and genres. They encourage films that engage with new ways of seeing and telling. As the festival takes place in the unique urban coastline of Rockaway, they consider the landscape when selecting the annual program.

They prefer films that have been made in the last year, but it’s not required. They also prefer films that have not already played in New York, but premiere status is not required.

Rockaway residents can submit for free. Email them for a waiver.
