Rockaway Needs To Be Heard

Alma Realty Corporation is seeking approval for zoning changes to develop on the Surfside property located between Beach 105th to Beah 108th Street and Rockaway Beach Blvd. and Shore Front Parkway. Alma Realty is proposing to add four more 24 story towers, townhouses and mixed-use structures to create 2,000 additional housing units on the Surfside property. On Thursday, April 4, there will be a Zoom meeting when Alma will be presenting to the Department of City Planning.
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THE DEPARTMENT OF CITY PLANNING HEAR ROCKAWAY COMMUNITY’S OPPOSITION TO THIS DEVELOPMENT by joining the Zoom meeting on Thursday, April 4 at 2 p.m. If you want to register to speak, please sign on at 1 p.m. and follow instructions.
