Thanks, Lifeguards!

Dear Editor:

We are long time Rockaway residents and are writing this letter to thank the great lifeguards on Beach 106 chair, Patrick, Gavin, Kyle and Lieutenant Helen for their dedication and excellent work this summer for saving lives. Their keen eyes and observation were at work every day, keeping watch for rip tides, sharks or anyone in distress. They are a great asset to the Parks Department! We are thanking them again and hoping to see them next year on the 106 chair. Have a great winter!
