Updates On AEW, Edge & Nick Aldis!

Welcome to another week, wrestling fans, and as the summer is almost coming to an end, we have exciting wrestling news this week to provide you with. So, let’s dive right in!

The huge AEW Pay-Per-View event, “All In London,” is fast approaching, as the show is scheduled for this coming Sunday, August 27, 2023. One of the stars that will be at the event but, unfortunately, will not be wrestling is Bryan Danielson. Other stars that were originally scheduled to appear, but will not because of injuries, are PAC and Jamie Hayter. This show plans to be the biggest event in wrestling history for London. So far, over 60,000 tickets have been sold.

Staying with AEW, many are wondering if the Young Bucks vs FTR match will still take place at the “All In London” PPV because of the recent arrest of Cash Wheeler. As it stands, Cash Wheeler will be attending the show, and will compete in the scheduled tag team match. As for the future of Cash Wheeler with AEW, Tony Khan has mentioned he “could not comment on the specifics of the situation as he does not have all the information.” We will keep you posted.

We have an update on former NWA Heavyweight Champion, Nick Aldis, who has recently been seen backstage at WWE Shows and is apparently trying out for a producer role. We want to wish Nick all the best on his tryout.

We also have an update on WWE Superstar Edge, who we mentioned a week ago, and who may have had his final match on last week’s Smackdown Show. It appears that this is true, as Edge confirmed that it was his last match under WWE contract. Now, is this the end of the Rated R Superstar’s career? Well, we are not sure, but, we are definitely sure his contract with the WWE is over.

The Question of the Week comes from Steven H. in Arverne, and he said, “I’m hearing rumors that Ronda Rousey is returning back to the UFC. Is this true?” Hey Steven, I have to say those rumors are false. UFC President Dana White confirmed that Ronda would not be returning to the UFC. Ronda has also made it public that she intends to work more on TV shows, movies and concentrate on her family. Thank you for the question.
