CM Punk, Randy Orton Return, Former WWE Superstar Jailed

Hey, Wrestle Talk fans! What a week it has been in the world of pro wrestling! The biggest news and the topic I received the most emails about was “The Return of CM Punk to the WWE.”

So, yes, it happened, and to be honest, I really didn’t think it was going to happen. But CM Punk made his return to the WWE at this year’s Survivor Series Premium Live Event. Another WWE Superstar made his return and that was Randy Orton. But I have to say when the “Cult of Personality” started to play, that entire arena exploded! There wasn’t a single person sitting down. The fans ate it up, and things are about to get very interesting in the WWE.

How does CM Punk’s return affect the roster? Well, let’s face it, CM Punk is a draw. People talk about him, ask about him, he is controversial, he speaks his mind… and the man can put butts into seats wherever he goes. So, yes, there will be some new storyline changes being made to accommodate CM Punk’s return. The man is money, people, plain and simple! When he left AEW the first time, they saw a decline in attendance from house shows, and when he returned to AEW, there was an increase in attendance. The guy can draw a crowd and the WWE knew this and did what they needed to do to bring him back!

Now, are people upset that he is back? Are other wrestlers upset? Well, it appeared that Seth Rollins wasn’t all too happy seeing CM Punk and went out of his way to curse and give him the middle finger.  So did Rhea Ripley. Was that all a work? Or was it real life anger towards CM Punk. In my book, who cares if they were upset. The name of the game, in the end, is to make money and CM Punk will bring money to the WWE. There are endless opportunities on how to use him right now, and I feel this is a very exciting time for the WWE.

So, all the questions received this week were about CM Punk, so I’m replying to all of you. Yes, I’m extremely excited he is back! I feel this was a very good decision on part of the WWE, and I look forward to seeing what develops in the coming months.

As just mentioned, WWE Superstar Randy Orton also made his return after suffering an injury and WWE Superstar R-Truth also made his return to the company.

In other wrestling news, former WWE Hall of Famer Sunny, her real name Tammy Sytch, was sentenced to 17 years in jail, on a DUI Manslaughter charge that she was on trial for in Ormond Beach, Florida.
