PBA Says Yay For Stacey
Stacey Pheffer Amato was endorsed by the NYC Police Benevolent Association (PBA) for her re-election campaign to the NYS Assembly.
“I am so honored by this endorsement and will never waver from my support of the police and their families. I will continue to fight to make sure law enforcement has all the resources and tools they need to keep us safe. The men and women of the NYPD deserve the highest level of respect and praise for the work they do. I am proud to stand up for law enforcement and it’s an honor to know that I have their support too,” Pheffer Amato said.
The President of the PBA, Pat Lynch said Pheffer Amato’s “commitment to addressing the issues affecting New York City police officers is well recognized, and it will be an honor to have [her] continue representing our members in the Assembly. We look forward to working with you towards our shared goal of a stronger, safer New York.”
Pheffer Amato, who is seeking re-election in the 23rd Assembly District which covers Ozone Park, Lindenwood, Howard Beach, Broad Channel and the Rockaway Peninsula, has been praised on numerous occasions for her commitment and work in public safety and for being an ally to law enforcement. She has been the prime co-sponsor on several pieces of legislation and policy initiatives in the State Assembly that have aimed at increasing tools and resources for law enforcement.
