My husband is wheelchair bound and due to some health issues on top of that, he has not been able to get out of the house for quite a while. Last month, we borrowed a wheelchair van and went to a doctor’s appointment and since it was such a nice day, we thought we would try to visit the Harbor Light afterwards. We had not been there since Superstorm Sandy.
It was about 3 p.m. and we arrived to learn that they are not really open at that time on a weekday. Nevertheless, an employee came out and he helped us with the wheelchair lift and welcomed us warmly. We got inside and one of the employees who was attempting to set up for the evening, instead waited on us and took our orders and treated us marvelously.
The food was as wonderful as I remembered it from before the flood, and between the gracious and kind service we received from everyone at the Harbor Light, and the food being just delicious, it ended up being a fantastic lunch. I so appreciate everyone there and thanks to them for making my husband’s first outing in months, so perfect.
